island focus
where's your fave island?
Anguilla

With the atmosphere of a sleepy backwater this flat coral retreat, lying northernmost in the British Leeward Islands, nonetheless attracts a sophisticated and glamorous clientele.

Perhaps they seek the breathtaking beaches, quiet coves and extensive selection of restaurants. Doubtless they enjoy the unique character of the Mediterranean / Moroccan-style hotels.

Most are enticed by the exclusivity of this haven. Anguilla's name, meaning 'eel', is an apt description for an island measuring 16 miles long by just three across, but it belies the outstanding beauty and the warmest of welcomes that are tucked away on this, the Caribbean's best kept secret.
