Holidays to Orlando

Found in Orange County, Florida, Orlando sits at the centre of the Greater Orlando metropolitan area and is the United States 79th largest city. Known as the “Theme Park Capital of the World” and “The City Beautiful” Orlando has more than enough sights and activities to keep even the most seasoned traveller busy.

Along International Drive you’ll discover all the mina parks such as Peabody Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando, and the Wet ‘n Wild Orlando Water Park, Universal Orlando is also close by while Walt Disney World Resort can be found approximately 20 miles from Downtown Orlando in Lake Buena Vista. Islands Adventure, City Walk and Gatorland also offer exciting daytrips and there are a plethora of informative museums, fun-themed restaurants, all-night bars and outlet malls also to be found along International Drive. Don’t be fooled by first look though, Orlando has plenty more to offer than busy theme parks and cheap shopping.

There are several spectacular parks to spend a day exploring, such as the Historic Bok Sanctuary and Harry P Leu Gardens and culture lovers are definitely recommended to see the Orlando Science Centre and the Orlando Museum of Art, furthermore a museum for all ages is the amazing Ripley’s Believe It or Not Orlando Odditorium.
