Officially the United Mexican States, Mexico is found between the United States to the north and Guatemala and Belize to the southeast. Mexico has miles of coastline stretching along to the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean Sea in the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. With a welcoming climate, delicious dishes, intriguing architecture, sky touching pyramids and informative museums, Mexico offers a platter of delights for everyone, from beach lovers and culture hunters to explorers and the adventurous.
The amount of historic sites and interesting attractions has placed Mexico 7th, in the ranking for major tourist destinations. Unknown and rarely visited is the northern part of Mexico, mainly consisting of expansive deserts and mountainous borders while the south is home to the Pacific Coast, where you can spend days relaxing on beautiful tropical beaches. Mexico’s history can be discovered in the Baijo region along with relics of its silver mining part and the Yucatan Peninsula lies along the Caribbean coast with some awe inspiring Mayan archaeological sites hidden in amongst the lush jungle terrain.
Make sure if you holiday to Mexico this year to stop by the capital, Mexico City, one of the largest cities in the world.
