Holidays to Mexico City

The largest city in North America and capital city of Mexico is Mexico City, a city divided into 16 districts with individual neighbourhoods numbering over 250. The Centro Historico is where it all began, based around the Plaza De La Contitucíon, the historical centre boasts amazing colonial landmarks and the outstanding Aztec Templor Mayor.

The third largest square in the world, the Zocalo can be found in the Centro Historico as well as the quaint historical neighbourhoods of Colonia San Rafael and Santa Maria La Ribera. The business and entertainment centre is Zona Rosa, also referred to as the Reforma district, here you’ll find clubs and bars galore, along with some plentiful shopping centres. More shopping can be found in Santa Fe and the southern district of Del Valle, while arts and culture can be experience in San Angel.

The areas of Condesa and Roma are considered upmarket and trendy, however if you prefer a more relaxed stay, head to Chapultepac for one of the biggest urban parks in the world, the main city zoo, the castle turned museum, beautiful lakes, an amusement park and a plethora of informative museums.
